Nahh, looks too cheap. Some of those visors would look badass though.

Unless you're driving in a rally, nay.

Nay.

If the tape were thicker, it might work, but then you'd probably start to have headlight-effectiveness issues. I concur with Rainbow on the visors.

I had them, they fell off. One while I was driving. Went under the car and got bent in half.

How about mesh?

Nay. Do some mesh covers, if anything. Or tint them yellow. Or do 356 lights. I'm just saying random things until you show us pics on the new wheels. WHERE ARE THEY. THE PEOPLE DEMAND ACTION.

Haha, I'm just glad someone is paying attention. If you find me front tires I can afford this process will go much faster.

Just chop up some chicken wire and shove it between the glass and the trim ring

Nay, but I have been thinking about doing this to the 2k2. I think thicker tape would help. I want to try some patterns besides the X. I've seen // or = or covering the whole light except for a strip.

Yes, make some if you are able? Get the right mesh and make a form to shape them over from wood/lumber/timber. You could then sell them to make a buck

Yes, but with wider tape.

That's what one of my friends said too. I'll try it when I get home.

DesertDog5051 suggested wider tape so I'm going to try that before I rip it all off.

if you're going to go with a mesh-type cover, maybe hardware cloth would work. Might even just tuck in between the light and bezel if there's enough clearance.

Kinja'd!!!

note: this image doesn't appear to be for headlight covers, but seemss to be roughly the right shape, so I figured it would make a good example.

Yeah that could work. Might have to try that too.
